So I'm sure you can agree with me when you hear me say that you can't remember everything. And I know that I'm constantly writing things down because I can't seem to remember all the things that need to happen. But what happens when you have a whole bunch of notes on scraps of paper or multiple sticky notes or maybe even several notebooks like I do. It's hard to stay organized when your thoughts and notes are scattered everywhere. So I want to share with you a simple way to stay organized throughout the week with Trello. Hey there. My name is Toni Anne. I'm the podcast host of the Real Happy Mom podcast, the podcast for busy working moms who need more time and want to achieve their big goals without pulling their hair out. And in this episode, I'm going to be sharing with you three simple ways to organize your week with Trello. So speaking of getting organized and staying on top of things, I want to take a moment to share with you about MagicMind. As a busy mom, you know how challenging it can be to stay energized and focused all day. And Magic Mind has been my go to for productivity when I'm trying to balance all the things so that I can stay mentally sharp, calm, and energized. So if you're looking for something that is going to help you with managing all the things throughout your day that you can take as drink instead of your typical Red Bull or coffee, definitely check out Magic Mind. This is going to get you to a place where you can feel more calm and productive without the extra shot of espresso. So check out Magic Mind by going to www. magicmind. com. If you've ever heard about Trello, you've probably heard of it as a project management tool, which is exactly what it is. Trello has been my number one application to use to help me with managing all the task. And basically, if you've never used Trello before, it is the project management system that I was telling you about that consists of boards. And within these boards, there are lists. And within each list, there are cards. And then this is where the magic happens. You can use these to cards in many different ways to get things organized and also customize things with automations as well as due dates and labels and other things so that you can be more efficient, know exactly what's going on and stay on top of the things that you have going on at home and at work. Now, I use Trello for managing home just as much as I use it for managing Real Happy Mom. So I want to share with you some of my favorite ways to use Trello during the week and the first one is with my weekly planner. My weekly planner is one that you can actually get a taste of. If you go into the show notes, you will see a link there for the weekly planner that you can get the template for so that you can start to see and map things out too as well for your week. But basically instead of having your paper planner and email planner. either having a bunch of sticky notes in there or lots of notes that are scratched out and things. You can put all of that information into the cards on your weekly planner and move things around accordingly. And then of course you can always edit things as life happens, but it's a really simple way to get things organized so that you know exactly what's going on during the week. My next favorite board and next favorite way to use Trello is with the Mail Planner. Now, if you've been hanging around me long enough, you know that the one thing that gets on my nerves the most is hearing, what's for dinner when I am tired and exhausted after a long day. Now, the simple way to eliminate that is to have things planned out as far as meals. So you know exactly what to have ready or what you can prepare quickly so that we can have that answer for that question that I was just talking to you about. So the meal planner board is really, really simple. There is a bunch of different recipes that I use on a regular basis, as well as a calendar going from Monday through Friday. Sometimes on the weekends I'll include those, but many times we're doing it on a weekly basis. Doing our own thing on the weekend. So Monday through Friday is where I really concentrate on and I map out what we're having for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And also in those cards, if I'm trying out a new recipe, I will include the recipe to that card. So I don't have to go searching on Pinterest for the recipe that I'm using. I can go directly to the card with the recipe and start cooking. And then the last Trello board that I like to use to get me organized is My Real Happy Mom content calendar. There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to Real Happy Mom We have content that goes out in email We have things that go out here on the podcast as well as on social media And then sometimes there's collaborations that are happening too as well so the way to get Everything in order is to have it all in one place so I know what is happening when and how I can move things around if I need to. So it's really nice to organize the content in this particular board because It's kind of like a bird's eye view of seeing everything that's going on. And then of course we can zero in and really narrow our focus on the different aspects of the content that we're putting out. But having this content calendar really makes it easy to see what is going on. When and where the content is being put out. So these are the three different boards in three different ways I like to get organized during the week using Trello. So I have my weekly planner that I use almost daily, my meal planner, and then the Real Happy Mom content calendar. If you want to see me in action using these Trello boards and get access to one of my templates, make sure you head over to realhappymom. com slash template and there you'll find some more information. So that's it for this episode. I hope that you found something useful and maybe get a little intrigued and want to try out Trello for yourself. If you do make sure you go over to realhappymom. com slash template to see me using. That's it for this week. Take care and with lots of love.
