[246] How I use Trello to Stay Organized
So there is one app that I absolutely cannot live without, and that app is Trello. It has saved me so much time, helped me stay organized and stay sane. And I want to share with you how it has done that for me. Hey there. My name is Toni Anne. I am the podcast host of the Real Happy Mom podcast. The podcast for busy working moms who need help with gaining more time and achieving their big goals without pulling their hair out. And in this episode, I'm going to be sharing with you how Trello has helped me stay organized and sane. So I have been talking about cello in the past few episodes and that is just because I really want you to find a way to help you stay organized electronically. Yes, having your paper planner is awesome. Don't get me wrong. I still use a paper planner but there's something about having something electronically to get you organized and to help you stay on track that really takes things to another level. I, I know that even right now, I know your phone is in close reach, and I know that I use my phone quite a bit, and having something like Trello to help you with knowing what's going on, when you need to get tasks completed by, and even breaking down steps can really help you with staying organized and focusing on the things that actually matter. So, I have been using Trello for a couple of years now, and before I even got started with it, Honestly, I had a hard time getting adjusted to how Trello works. Initially, I just couldn't get my brain to, to grasp how to use it. And it wasn't until I started using some templates that the light bulbs started to go off. And I could see exactly how I could use it. Use Trello to map out different projects, different tasks that I needed to get done. And especially for planning big events, it was super, super helpful. Having Trello to map out everything helps me to stay super organized. So there's never anything that gets left unattended. So in a previous episode, I talked to you about how I was. Planning out a retirement ceremony, when I tell you every single detail was on that Trello board, I mean every little thing. Everything was on there including names, contacts, dates, documents were attached, everything was on this board so that I knew exactly what to do and when to have it done by. So one of the things that I mentioned before that is really helpful is having pre built templates and there are several templates that I have that can definitely help you out with that. But having these templates is really a game changer because It will allow you to save time because things are already pretty much built out for you. All you have to do is go in and customize things so you can literally start using Trello within just a few minutes. The other thing with Trello is that you can create several different boards to map out different things and different Processes that you have going on. So for instance, I have multiple different boards to help me with multiple different things including planning out my meals A cleaning calendar, even things for Real Happy Mom, including the content calendar, which I've talked about before, even a board to plan out my summit that will be coming out in February. All of these different things have different boards. And I know sometimes just looking at things, you'll be like, well, how do I know if I need another board? You'll know if you need another board. If you have like multiple processes going on or if it's a big project that you just want to focus on one thing. So having the different boards has definitely kept me organized and given me the peace of mind because I know where everything is and where everything is going. And for a limited time, I have a pack of Trello boards inside of the Home Management Trello Tastic Power Pack. This power pack has five different Trello boards that are going to help you with managing your home. In addition, there are some tutorials that are going to show you exactly how to use Trello if you've never used it before. So I want you to try it out see how you are liking Trello because I know it can take a little minute But I know that you'll love it once you start using these templates So go ahead and grab the templates by going over to realhappymom. com slash home That's realhappymom. com home management to try out these Trello boards for a very, very special price. So that is all that I have for this episode. Make sure you stay tuned for next week for another full episode. Take care and with lots of love.
