You are tuned in to The Real Happy Mom podcast. I'm Toni-Ann, and this is Holiday Voices. This is a special series where moms share quick tips and meaningful moments to help you trade chaos for calm and make this season a little more like you. So let's jump into today's voice. Hey, I am Whitney Hawthorne, author of the Savvy Working Mom, a corporate girly Mama to two littles, and I live in McDonough, Georgia, just south of Atlanta. One thing I'm doing differently this holiday is saying no. A lot. I am prioritizing what's important across all the areas of my life, what's important for this holiday season, for my kids, for my family, for myself, during this end of fiscal season for my job. And once I have those priorities in place, I am going to be saying no a lot. I'm going to be saying no.'cause no is a full sentence. I'm going to be saying, as it turns out, I can't. I'm going to be saying no, but have you tried this? I'll be saying no in many, many ways to make sure that I can focus on what is important for me, what my priorities are this holiday season, to protect my peace, to have a lot of joy, and make sure that I keep moving towards my goals. That's it for this one. It is short, sweet, and straight from the heart. And if you're loving the series, make sure you follow the show or subscribe so that you don't miss what's coming next. I'll be back again tomorrow with another one of these holiday voices. Until then, take care and with thoughts of love.
